I frosted a cake with home made cream cheese frosting, but now I'm not sure if it needs to go in the fridge?

Made with margarine, cream cheese, cocoa, milk, powdered sugar.I frosted a cake with home made cream cheese frosting, but now I'm not sure if it needs to go in the fridge?
yes.... the frosting has products you would normally store in the fridge...so yes. butter, cream cheese and milk go in the fridge...so put the cake in.I frosted a cake with home made cream cheese frosting, but now I'm not sure if it needs to go in the fridge?
if you are going to eat it quickly no like 2 days if more than than that yes refrigerate it
It needs to be refrigerated because of the dairy products.
I am pretty sure it is optional but I do when I bake a cake, so you should probably do it to be on the safe side!
You should put it in the fridge.
It wouldn't hurt...

Putting the cake in the fridge will help the icing set a bit, although I wouldn't keep it in there, as I'm sure it takes up lots of space.

If you leave it out on the counter, put a few toothpicks around the top perimeter of the cake and cover with plastic wrap. You wouldn't want that frosting to go to waste on the plastic.

I wouldn't keep it for longer than a week if leaving it out...although in my house, cake with frosting wouldn't last longer than a day!!

Hope this helps.
always re fridge if you can
yes or then it wont taste as fresh

as before
id put it in the fridge, just to be sure
Yes, put it in the fridge.

Cream cheese is perishable.
