I made frozen drinks with a rotary electric ice cream/sorbet maker. There was an awful metallic taste in my slushy as I neared the bottom. After cleaning out the metal-lined insulated bowl, I noticed some of the cooling liquid had collected in the bottom. Should I be concerned that I may have ingested a carcinogen or toxin? What is the cooling liquid in automatic ice cream maker bowls?
You need to give some more info. How does it cool? A gel or disk that is put into the freezer or self-cooling (compressor)?
