My boyfriend brought me a pint of my favorite ice cream as a gift (he really knows me). The problem is, it kinda melted on the way to my house, and it's still pretty soft. Can it still be eaten? Is there a way to get it to harden up again?How do I get a pint of ice cream to harden up again?
Yes, it will be fine. Just put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. When you take it out of the freezer it will look weird and may have frost on it, but it should still be safe to eat.

of course it can still be eaten, just put it back in the freezer and hopefully it won't get icicles forming, sometimes it will and won't be as nice.
