What do you think of this homemade ice cream idea?

Can milk (whole-aka vitamin D), cream of some sort or buttermilk, and jell-o gelatin powder be whipped into ice cream? If so, how? Would it be more of a sherbet? Any tips or ideas? What do you think of this homemade ice cream idea?
If you give me the recipe I will try it in my electric ice cream maker. Sounds ok.What do you think of this homemade ice cream idea?
i think you should use the jello pudding instead of jello gelatin.that may work better.
i dont think gelatine is the best ingredient for ice cream!

I don't think I have ever seen a recipe for Ice cream which included Jell-o, but you could try it. The gelatinous effect of the Jell-o might prevent your ice cream from becoming creamy, but, hey, go for it. You may come up with the world's newest frozen confection.

Jel Cream? Cream-O? Who knows???
beats me''
I don't think that would work
To get your recipe perfect, you need to know how sherbet works. The sugar, obviously, is there to make it sweet, and the acid is there to make it tart. The proportion of sugar to acid is, therefore, governed by your personal tastes.

The acid has a second function, though. With the bicarb, it provides the fizzing sensation on your tongue. When the two powders dissolve in the saliva on your tongue, they begin to react:

Citric acid + bicarbonate of soda
