What roof color would look best with a mingled-cream colors small brick home?

Due to hail damage, I am replacing the roof on my twelve-year-old home. My house looks nice, but fairly plain. The trim, garage door and roof all blend. There does not seem to be any definition to make it stand out. Since I must begin with the roof, I thought maybe I could give the exterior of my home a little more personality. I can change everything except the brick color (a light cream color that has other tones in each brick). What roof color, trim and door color would make my house ';pop';?What roof color would look best with a mingled-cream colors small brick home?
Drive around your neighborhood to find color schemes that appeal to you. Bright green may be the now ting, but if you hate green then you won't be happy with it. When you see a house that has the wow factor, then you will be on the right track. Don't stop there though....

Take a picture of your house, take it with you to a couple of home improvement centers and then to a couple of smaller high end paint stores. Ask for ideas and opinions from the sales people. You can jot down notes and tell them you want to think about it before making a final decision.

Take your time, so that you will be happy with the results.

Simple things often make the biggest difference. Edge the sidewalk, prune shrubbery - correctly! Plant flowers. Change out the hardware - including light fixtures and door knobs. Add a kick-plate and make the house numbers visible. Put a beautiful cotainer with lush plantings right at the front door.

Hope some of these ideas help. :)What roof color would look best with a mingled-cream colors small brick home?
The light tones of the brick call for a dark accent. I like dark red or black.
With the colour of the brick I'd recommend black or brown. Then if you use those colours as trim on windows/shutters, garage etc., your house will really stand out and look nice.
Go with a light color (for the south or darker tone for the north) that matches any of the tones found in the brick for the roof, will help keep costs down and not make it look tacky. White trim would make it look neat, then just play up the door in any color you like but won't get tired of...or just go with an equally neutral colored door with stained glass or leaded glass with various glass textures that shows character. Think about lighting, it makes a major difference. Then landscape according to your likes and durability of each thing to your area. A few unusual specimens with the right yard decoration can do quite a bit to make a plain house shine.
my choice would be be decided by what part of the country i lived,, if in the south where ac bills are the big expense i would go back with a light shingle to match the brick and use a bright paint to bring out the character of the home design.... if in the north i would use a dark shingle to aid in sun aborbtion to melt snow on the roof quicker and keep attic a little warmer in the winter ,, with a dark shingle u also have more choices on ur trim color/// i know i did not help with color choices , but these tips might help with ur energy bill.
It depends on what kind your looking for are you planning on Shingles, Tile or a Metal roof. Now all of these come in various colors and can work.

However if you want your house to pop then stay away from colors like grays and browns that kind of thing, if you want it to POP then go for colors like Forest Green or reds they stand out more, can look very nice and not many people take that chance and tend to go safe.

I have done various houses in Forest green and they always stand out and look great. You can also do all your trim in White with your front door Green. maybe you can add some wooden shutters and make them green also
I think a mid to dark brown would look very smart, I had a home like that, installed shutters in the roof color and garage door and some trim around the front door.
