Sour Cream


and Clotted Cream?





Can any of these be made at home with milk?What is the difference between the following types of cream?
whipped cream is just that whipped cream you whip it by hand or mixer. Cream is fat skimmed off whole milk sour cream is cream that has been left to sour or clot and no they cannot be made with milk as they are made with creamWhat is the difference between the following types of cream?
None of these can be made at home with milk, it doesn't have enough butterfat.





Cream that is partially whipped is clotted cream. Cream that is fully whipped is whipped cream.





Sour cream is the result of a bacterial process somewhat like yogurt.
