I've tried mixing cream soda into my batter in substitute for water. Worked well, baked nice, not too much flavor.
What would be best for baking and getting good flavor:
Cream Soda Extract
Cream Soda Syrup
Cream Soda Flavor Concentrate
Which one, why, and where do i buy?
This is for my engagement party so i want these to turn out great.
I tried searching google with no clear cut answer. What should i use to get great Cream Soda flavor in my Cupcakes?
I would go with the extract, you will be able to use just a small amount to get the flavor you want..What should i use to get great Cream Soda flavor in my Cupcakes?
Make cream soda icing!
6 oz white chocolate
3 ea egg yolks
2/3 c icing sugar
1/3 c Jones Cream Soda
1 c unsalted butter, softened
Place chocolate %26amp; soda in a small saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat %26amp; let stand to cool. Refrigerate until cold. Beat butter til it's light %26amp; fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Gradually add chocolate mixture. Beat in icing sugar.
Angela Q is right.
Cream soda is Vanilla soda.( Vanilla syrup)
or Vanilla extract with brown sugar.
Actually, I would go with the syrup for this.
U-Bet has a great vanilla syrup( as do other companies) and they're usually available in most supermarkets.
That's all it is.
go to http://recipezaar.com and search for 7UP Cake. Instead of the 7up, use the Cream Soda. You might add a bit more vanilla to it.
Cream Soda Syrup or Flavor Concentrate can be purchased at any company that sells beer making supplies. I get mine from; http://www.heartlandhomebrewsupply.com/c鈥?/a>
the flavoring brand name is Rainbow.
Extra vanilla and some brown sugar.
